Day 1

Welcome to India

Namaste, and welcome to Delhi — the beating heart of India where ancient empires and modern energy intertwine!

Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, your personal English-speaking driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name. You’ll be transferred in comfort to your handpicked boutique hotel for a restful start to your journey.

Take the evening to breathe in your first moments of this incredible country — perhaps with a rooftop cocktail or a gentle stroll through the hotel’s leafy courtyard.

2 nights in Delhi – stay in the hotel standard you choose

Delhi Red Fort

Day 2

Old Souls and Grand Avenues

Today you’ll step into India’s living history, guided by a passionate local expert. Begin at the towering Qutub Minar, a 13th-century sandstone masterpiece, followed by the elegant Humayun’s Tomb, the architectural precursor to the Taj Mahal.

Later, dive into the colourful chaos of Old Delhi on a cycle rickshaw — feel the pulse of Chandni Chowk as you weave past spice markets, mosque domes and tangled wires. Then return to serenity as you cruise along Rajpath, passing India Gate, Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan, where imperial grandeur still lingers.

Breakfast included

Agra Fort

Day 3

Road to Romance

Leave the capital behind and journey in comfort to Agra — home of eternal love and epic Mughal architecture. Once the capital of an empire, Agra’s skyline is crowned by domes and turrets that whisper royal secrets.

On arrival, settle into your hotel. The afternoon is yours to relax or take a quiet wander — because tomorrow, you’ll greet the Taj Mahal at sunrise.

Breakfast included
2 nights in Agra –  stay in the hotel standard you choose

Day 4

Taj at First Light

Wake early for one of the most stirring sights on Earth — the Taj Mahal at dawn. Watch as first light paints the white marble in soft rose and gold, while your guide shares the timeless tale of love that inspired it.

Later, step into the dramatic past at Agra Fort, where emperors ruled and plotted. Explore ornate halls and peek from the royal chambers where Shah Jahan once gazed across the river at his beloved Taj.

Deluxe and Indulgence guests will enjoy an exclusive high tea at a hidden riverside spot, offering dreamy views of both the fort and Taj Mahal.

Breakfast included

Day 5

Lost Cities and Jungle Roads

After breakfast, head to the haunting red-stone ruins of Fatehpur Sikri, a former Mughal capital abandoned in its prime. Wander ghostly courtyards and echoing palaces frozen in time.

Continue your journey into Rajasthan’s wild heart, arriving in Ranthambore National Park, where jungle-cloaked ridges and crumbling fortresses are home to India’s elusive tigers. Settle into your lodge and take in the earthy calm of the countryside.

Breakfast included
2 nights in Ranthambore – stay in the hotel standard you choose

Day 6

Tigers and Textiles

As the mist lifts from the forest floor, head out in an open 4WD for your morning safari. With luck — and a little patience — you may spot the legendary Royal Bengal tiger, along with leopards, marsh crocodiles, sambar deer and shy sloth bears.

After a hearty breakfast back at the lodge, visit the Dastkar Ranthambhore Project, where local women revive traditional crafts and textiles. The afternoon brings a second safari, revealing how different the jungle becomes as the golden light fades.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner included

Day 7

Into the Pink City

Journey north through villages and farmland to Jaipur, Rajasthan’s flamboyant capital. Known as the Pink City, Jaipur is a celebration of symmetry, colour and regal splendour.

Check into your boutique hotel and explore at your own pace — perhaps sip masala chai on a rooftop terrace or browse for hand-block textiles in the local bazaars.

Breakfast included
2 nights in Jaipur –  stay in the hotel standard you choose

Day 8

Palaces, Temples and Royal Secrets

This morning, head uphill to the amber-hued Amber Fort, where mirrored halls, marble pavilions and sacred temples await. Receive a quiet blessing at the Shila Mata Temple, nestled within the fort’s walls.

Back in the city, explore the grand City Palace and its royal museum. Indulgence guests are granted access to the private royal quarters — where you’ll sip tea in rooms once graced by visiting monarchs.

Visit the Jantar Mantar observatory — an ancient scientific marvel — before stopping for that picture-perfect snap in front of the iconic Hawa Mahal. End your day wandering through Jaipur’s fragrant spice stalls and artisan havens.

Note: Elephant rides are not supported on this itinerary. We offer a respectful optional visit to a local elephant sanctuary where you can engage with these gentle giants ethically.

Breakfast included

Day 9

Depart India

Savour a final breakfast before your private driver whisks you back to Delhi Airport. As you leave India’s Golden Wild behind, carry home memories of majestic monuments, wild encounters and heartfelt connections that will stay with you forever.

We had the most incredible experience with Click and Trip for our Vietnam and Cambodia holiday. They were so helpful pre-departure customising and adding extras we requested to our itinerary. As well as helping us organise our visas for our destinations. All our guides were so friendly and welcoming and made the whole experience so effortless and enjoyable. The activities were amazing and so diverse in each city and our accomodation in Cambodia was a real stand out. I can not recommend Click and Trip more highly and there offering in the travel market is truely unlike anything I have seen. Book with them, you will not regret it.

Well, thats New York done and dusted !!.What a fabulous time we had. I wanted to email you to thank especially Rosie,Holly and the clickandtrip team for your organisation of our trip. It exceeded our expectations and I will be telling anyone who listens or asks to use your company and yourself. The details and instructions regarding the travelling details were clear and concise. The transfers from flights to drivers to and from airport/hotel seemless. I cannot thank you enough. Your response to any questions was prompt and clear ( and I had a lot of questions). Thank you all for a wonderful holiday we will remember forever. Kind regards Susan Hocken

Nyssa at Click and Trip was super helpful and knowledgeable. I gave her an overview of what my wife and I were looking to do in a 5 week trip around Australia and she compiled an intenerary that accomplished that, but also had a plethora of suggestions of places to see and activities that I would never have known. We also had to change our plans towards the end of our trip and she was able to sort that out hassle free for me. I have already given her details to friends and family that are thinking of touring Oz and I will not hesitate to use Click and Trip again for any trips to other destinations that may take my fancy in the future.

🌸✨ Just returned from our 2nd unforgettable trip with Click and Trip - a 2 week adventure through Japan. From the serene Meiji Shrine to the bustling Shibuya Crossing, the magical Teamlab Borderless, thrilling Tokyo Street Go Carting, and the enchanting Disneysea 🌊🎢, every moment was meticulously planned. We explored traditional gems like Takayama and Shirakawa-go 🏯, marvelled at Kenroku-en garden's beauty 🌿, and indulged in Wagyu at Bungo Gion 🥩. Kyoto's Fushimi Inari Shrine and the serene Kiyomizu-dera temple were highlights, as was dressing up in a kimono and strolling through Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka Streets 👘🌸. Click and Trip took care of everything – from tickets 🎫, transfers 🚕, luxury hotels 🏨, to private guides 🗺️. They even helped us avoid the crowds with their insider tips and perfect itineraries. The Japan Explorer package was a dream, especially the stay in a traditional Ryokan in Takayama, offering Kyoto’s charm minus the crowds 🏡✨. For a seamless, crowd-free, and unforgettable Japan experience, I can't recommend Click and Trip enough! 🌟

We had a fantastic trip to Vietnam with Click & Trip; I can't recommend this service highly enough, it takes the stress out of booking and planning a trip, and ensures you are locked into the best tours, hotels and transport for your time away (so you don't have to worry about getting dates and times right or booking an Air BnB that doesn't exist). It feels like a much more bespoke experience than previous travel agencies I've used, so if you get the chance to use them for your next trip, definitely do!

Your Questions Answered

This journey blends India’s famed Golden Triangle with a wild twist — two thrilling safaris in Ranthambore National Park. While many itineraries race through monuments, India’s Golden Wild slows the pace, mixing must-sees like the Taj Mahal with authentic moments, personal storytelling, and the raw beauty of India’s wilderness. It’s iconic India, with soul.

Yes — and it’s often a highlight. Ranthambore is one of India’s premier tiger reserves, and your itinerary includes two 4WD safaris to maximise sightings. While tigers are elusive, you may also spot leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, and countless bird species. Morning and afternoon drives offer different wildlife rhythms, making every safari unique.

Always. From the moment you land, it’s just you and your chosen travel companions — no buses, no strangers. Your private driver handles every transfer, and local guides are dedicated solely to your journey. It’s a deeply personal way to explore India — with flexibility, comfort, and full support every step of the way.

We handpick boutique stays that reflect local character and comfort — from restored Mughal mansions in Agra to jungle lodges in Ranthambore. You can choose from Comfort, Deluxe or Indulgence levels depending on your travel style. Think rooftop breakfasts, peaceful courtyards, and rooms you’ll actually want to spend time in.

It’s ideal. India’s Golden Wild introduces you to India’s greatest hits — the Taj Mahal, Jaipur’s palaces, Delhi’s living history — with the added wonder of wildlife in Ranthambore. It’s immersive but never overwhelming, with private guides who make sense of the chaos and help you connect with the beauty behind the buzz.

Yes. The Golden Triangle and Ranthambore are among India’s most visited and traveller-friendly areas. With Click and Trip, you’re never on your own — your driver and guides are vetted, reliable, and fluent in English, and our Australian-based team is just a message away for anything you need.

Absolutely. Solo travellers often love this itinerary for its balance of independence and expert support. You’ll have a private guide, a personal driver, and 24/7 backup from our local team. Whether you want to soak in silence at the Taj or chat with locals in Jaipur’s bazaars, your journey unfolds entirely on your terms.

You’ll fly into Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi. Direct routes are available from major Australian cities with airlines such as Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Qantas, Air India and Malaysia Airlines. You’re welcome to book your own flights or ask us for help — we’re happy to assist.

Definitely. India’s Golden Wild is a popular choice for couples seeking romance with a dash of adventure — as well as for families who want cultural depth without group tour rigidity.
