Leave the city behind and journey towards Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed seascape of soaring limestone islets. Step aboard your stylish traditional cruise and begin gliding through emerald waters. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch as the dramatic karsts rise around you. Whether kayaking, visiting caves or simply taking in the views, this overnight experience blends tranquillity with awe. Sunset cocktails and a starlit dinner complete a truly memorable day.

Halong Sunrise to Danang Shores

Start your day with a peaceful Tai Chi session on deck or watch the sun break through the morning mist over Halong Bay. Spend today at your own pace, whether that’s lounging on the golden sands, exploring the bustling Han Market, or enjoying a gentle cycle along the beach promenade. Hoi An’s Flavours and Fragrant Markets

Comfort travellers enjoy another day of rest and exploration, while Deluxe and Indulgence travellers will embark on an enriching culinary experience. Begin at Hoi An’s vibrant market with your local chef, gathering fresh herbs and produce. Then cruise the Thu Bon River to the lush Red Bridge Cooking School. Here, you’ll prepare classic Vietnamese dishes using traditional techniques, before dining in a peaceful riverside setting. This is slow travel at its most flavourful.

Journey to Siem Reap

Today is dedicated to the wonders of the Khmer Empire. Stand before the vast majesty of Angkor Wat as your guide brings its story to life. A day of deep reverence and unforgettable moments.

Banteay Srei & Village Stories

Travel into the Cambodian countryside to visit Banteay Srei, a petite but exquisitely carved temple in pink sandstone. Along the way, stop at local villages and hear stories from artisans who keep traditional crafts alive. After lunch, discover the peaceful Roluos Group temples — lesser known but rich in history and character. This is Cambodia off the beaten track.

Vibrancy of Saigon

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City — Vietnam’s bustling southern hub. Check into your boutique hotel before diving into a private guided tour of the city. I gave her an overview of what my wife and I were looking to do in a 5 week trip around Australia and she compiled an intenerary that accomplished that, but also had a plethora of suggestions of places to see and activities that I would never have known.
We also had to change our plans towards the end of our trip and she was able to sort that out hassle free for me.

From exploring stunning temples and lush rice terraces to thrilling ATV rides through the countryside, every day was a new adventure. Highlights included visiting the Ubud Monkey Forest, ATV’s, Elephant Sanctuary and the adrenaline of swinging over rice terraces.

What made this trip extra special was our local guides which allowed us to really enjoy our time together as a group. We shared laughs, stories, and unforgettable moments that will last a lifetime. We explored traditional gems like Takayama and Shirakawa-go 🏯, marvelled at Kenroku-en garden's beauty 🌿, and indulged in Wagyu at Bungo Gion 🥩. Kyoto's Fushimi Inari Shrine and the serene Kiyomizu-dera temple were highlights, as was dressing up in a kimono and strolling through Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka Streets 👘🌸.
