Day 1

Welcome to Cambodia

Choum reap sor, and welcome to Siem Reap — the cultural heart of Cambodia!

Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, your friendly English-speaking driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name. You’ll be transferred in comfort to your handpicked boutique hotel, with your choice of Comfort, Deluxe or Indulgence standard.

Take the rest of the day to relax and settle in — perhaps take a dip in the hotel pool, wander through the nearby Old Market, or enjoy a sunset cocktail on the terrace.

Breakfast included
3 nights in Siem Reap — stay in the hotel standard you choose

Day 2

Temples of Time — Angkor Wat & Beyond

After breakfast, your private guide will lead you through the sacred landscapes of Angkor, where ancient temples and thick jungle collide in otherworldly beauty.

Wander through the majestic South Gate of Angkor Thom and gaze into the serene stone faces of Bayon Temple. Let your imagination run wild at Ta Prohm, where tree roots snake through temple walls in a tangle of history and nature.

End the day at the iconic Angkor Wat — the crown jewel of Cambodia and a centrepiece of the Wonders of Cambodia. As the sun dips behind the spires, you’ll understand why this site is considered one of the world’s great wonders.

Breakfast included

Tonle Sap Lake

Day 3

Village Rhythms & Floating Worlds

This morning offers a deeper connection to Cambodia’s culture. Travel by tuk-tuk to peaceful Chrieve village, where you’ll meet families, join in hands-on gardening or farming, and enjoy an oxcart ride across open fields dotted with water buffalo.

Later, take to the water and cruise across Tonle Sap — Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake — to visit the floating village of Chong Khneas. Learn how life flows with the rhythm of the lake before stopping at Les Artisans d’Angkor, a social enterprise reviving ancient stone carving and wood sculpting.

This is a day that reveals the heartbeat of Cambodia — quiet, resilient, and deeply welcoming.

Breakfast included

Sihanoukville Beach

Day 4

From Sacred Temples to Southern Shores

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to the airport for a short domestic flight to Cambodia’s southern coastline. Depending on your accommodation style, your beach escape begins in one of three beautiful ways:

  • Comfort: Transfer to your laid-back beachfront hotel in Sihanoukville.

  • Deluxe: Travel by shared ferry to tranquil Koh Rong Samloem Island — known for its white sand and crystal-clear waters.

  • Indulgence: Glide by private speedboat to Bamboo Island and step into a world of secluded barefoot luxury.

The afternoon is yours to settle in, watch the waves roll in, or take a sunset stroll along the shore.

Breakfast included
5 nights of Sihanoukville – stay in the hotel standard you choose

Sihanoukville Beach with Boat

Days 5-8

Slow Days & Sea Breezes

These days are all about slow travel and soul-soothing rest. Wake up to the sound of the sea, stretch into the day at your own pace, and enjoy as much (or as little) activity as you wish.

Snorkel through warm coral reefs, read from a hammock, book a massage by the sea, or dine barefoot on fresh-caught seafood as the sun melts into the ocean.

We’ll provide you with a travel booklet filled with local insights, optional experiences, and foodie tips — or simply embrace the art of doing nothing in paradise.

Breakfast included

Phnom Penh Royal Palace

Day 9

Phnom Penh by Cyclo

Leave the coast behind and journey inland with your private driver to Cambodia’s lively capital — Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, check in and refresh before stepping into a slower rhythm of exploration.

Your guide will meet you for an early evening cyclo tour — a nostalgic pedal-powered ride through wide boulevards and riverside scenes. Visit the ornate Royal Palace and the gleaming Silver Pagoda, home to a solid gold Buddha studded with diamonds. Then, ascend to Wat Phnom, a hilltop temple rich in legend and local charm.

Tonight, raise a glass to the journey you’ve had — and the stories still unfolding.

Breakfast included
1 night in Phnom Penh — stay in the hotel standard you choose

Day 10

History, Reflection & Farewell

This morning, your guide will take you to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum — a deeply moving site that sheds light on Cambodia’s recent history. It’s a powerful contrast to the joy and generosity you’ve experienced elsewhere — and an essential piece of understanding this resilient country.

Afterwards, browse colourful market stalls at Toul Tom Poung for handcrafted keepsakes and local bites before your driver transfers you to Phnom Penh Airport for your departure.

We had the most incredible experience with Click and Trip for our Vietnam and Cambodia holiday. They were so helpful pre-departure customising and adding extras we requested to our itinerary. As well as helping us organise our visas for our destinations. All our guides were so friendly and welcoming and made the whole experience so effortless and enjoyable. The activities were amazing and so diverse in each city and our accomodation in Cambodia was a real stand out. I can not recommend Click and Trip more highly and there offering in the travel market is truely unlike anything I have seen. Book with them, you will not regret it.

Well, thats New York done and dusted !!.What a fabulous time we had. I wanted to email you to thank especially Rosie,Holly and the clickandtrip team for your organisation of our trip. It exceeded our expectations and I will be telling anyone who listens or asks to use your company and yourself. The details and instructions regarding the travelling details were clear and concise. The transfers from flights to drivers to and from airport/hotel seemless. I cannot thank you enough. Your response to any questions was prompt and clear ( and I had a lot of questions). Thank you all for a wonderful holiday we will remember forever. Kind regards Susan Hocken

Nyssa at Click and Trip was super helpful and knowledgeable. I gave her an overview of what my wife and I were looking to do in a 5 week trip around Australia and she compiled an intenerary that accomplished that, but also had a plethora of suggestions of places to see and activities that I would never have known. We also had to change our plans towards the end of our trip and she was able to sort that out hassle free for me. I have already given her details to friends and family that are thinking of touring Oz and I will not hesitate to use Click and Trip again for any trips to other destinations that may take my fancy in the future.

Highlights included visiting the Ubud Monkey Forest, ATV’s, Elephant Sanctuary and the adrenaline of swinging over rice terraces. What made this trip extra special was our local guides which allowed us to really enjoy our time together as a group. We shared laughs, stories, and unforgettable moments that will last a lifetime. 🌸✨ Just returned from our 2nd unforgettable trip with Click and Trip - a 2 week adventure through Japan. From the serene Meiji Shrine to the bustling Shibuya Crossing, the magical Teamlab Borderless, thrilling Tokyo Street Go Carting, and the enchanting Disneysea 🌊🎢, every moment was meticulously planned. We explored traditional gems like Takayama and Shirakawa-go 🏯, marvelled at Kenroku-en garden's beauty 🌿, and indulged in Wagyu at Bungo Gion 🥩. Kyoto's Fushimi Inari Shrine and the serene Kiyomizu-dera temple were highlights, as was dressing up in a kimono and strolling through Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka Streets 👘🌸. Click and Trip took care of everything – from tickets 🎫, transfers 🚕, luxury hotels 🏨, to private guides 🗺️. They even helped us avoid the crowds with their insider tips and perfect itineraries. The Japan Explorer package was a dream, especially the stay in a traditional Ryokan in Takayama, offering Kyoto’s charm minus the crowds 🏡✨. For a seamless, crowd-free, and unforgettable Japan experience, I can't recommend Click and Trip enough! 🌟

We had a fantastic trip to Vietnam with Click & Trip; I can't recommend this service highly enough, it takes the stress out of booking and planning a trip, and ensures you are locked into the best tours, hotels and transport for your time away (so you don't have to worry about getting dates and times right or booking an Air BnB that doesn't exist). It feels like a much more bespoke experience than previous travel agencies I've used, so if you get the chance to use them for your next trip, definitely do!

Your Questions Answered

This is your journey, your way — not a coach tour or fixed group departure. From the moment you land in Siem Reap to the final sunset in Phnom Penh, it’s just you (and your travel companions) with your own private guide, driver, and tailor-made itinerary. That means no waiting on others, no rushed sightseeing, and total flexibility every step of the way.

Absolutely. Cambodia Splendour and Stone has been crafted especially with first-time visitors in mind. You’ll see iconic temples like Angkor Wat with expert local guides, enjoy soft cultural immersion in safe, welcoming villages, and relax on quiet island beaches. It’s a perfect introduction to Southeast Asia that blends discovery with downtime.

The ideal time to travel is between November and March, when Cambodia enjoys dry, warm weather and clear skies — perfect for temple touring and beach days. April to June can be hotter, and July to October is green and quiet (but with a chance of tropical showers). We’ll help you choose the right season based on your preferences.

You’ll fly into Siem Reap International Airport (REP) to begin your journey. Popular airlines from Australia include Singapore Airlines, Qantas, and Thai Airways, often connecting via Singapore or Bangkok. Your trip ends in Phnom Penh (PNH), making it ideal for an open-jaw ticket. Want help finding the best flights? Just ask — we’re happy to assist.

Cambodia Splendour and Stone goes deeper than ticking off tourist spots. You’ll meet locals in rural villages, glide through floating communities on Tonle Sap Lake, and explore temples at quieter times for a more personal connection. Paired with handpicked boutique hotels and the option to unwind on islands like Koh Rong Samloem or Bamboo, this journey is all about balance — rich culture, meaningful moments, and slow, intentional travel.

Yes, and you won’t feel alone. Solo travellers love the safety, ease, and personalised attention of private guided travel. You’ll have private transfers, boutique hotels, and expert guides throughout — plus 24/7 support from our team. A solo supplement applies, but the freedom and confidence to explore Cambodia on your terms? Worth every cent.

Definitely. We tailor your island experience to suit your style. Families may enjoy the relaxed pace of Sihanoukville’s beachfront hotels, while couples often opt for romantic hideaways on Bamboo Island or the castaway charm of Koh Rong Samloem. Let us know who you’re travelling with — we’ll match you to the perfect setting.

So many. You’ll join local families for traditional farming activities, ride an oxcart through village fields, visit artisan workshops, and witness the rhythm of life on Cambodia’s great lake. Every experience is chosen to offer authentic connection — beyond the guidebooks and into the real Cambodia.

Yes. Cambodia is friendly, welcoming, and safe — especially with our trusted local guides and drivers by your side. We work only with vetted partners and offer full support throughout your journey. You’ll never have to worry about logistics, language barriers, or navigating solo. We’ve got you — every step of the way.

Absolutely. Every Cambodia Splendour and Stone journey begins with a conversation, not a checkout cart. Simply click the “Tailor This Trip” button at the top of the page or visit our Contact Us page to get started.

Call our Brisbane-based team on 1300 833 149, email contact@clickandtrip.com.au, start a live chat, or submit a short enquiry form. We’ll help you personalise everything — from hotel style and pace to extra touches like spa days or private cooking classes.
