Xin chào, and welcome to Ho Chi Minh City — the beating heart of southern Vietnam!

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, your personal English-speaking driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name. You’ll be transferred in comfort to your handpicked boutique hotel for a restful start to your journey.

Take the rest of the day at leisure — perhaps stretch out after your flight, sample your first steaming bowl of phở, or dive into the buzz of the local streets, where the city’s energy is instantly captivating.

Day 2

Cu Chi Tunnels and Saigon’s Living History

After breakfast, your private guide brings Vietnam’s wartime past into focus with a journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels — a sprawling underground network that once served as a base for the Viet Cong. You’ll walk through preserved tunnel sections, learn how locals survived the war years, and even try the traditional guerrilla snack of cassava and tea.

Return to the city for a full afternoon exploring Saigon’s colonial-era landmarks: the elegant Notre-Dame Cathedral, Independence Palace, the grand Central Post Office, and the powerful War Remnants Museum. Along the way, your guide will share stories that illuminate both the city’s past and its present heartbeat.

Day 3

A Mekong Delta Day — Villages, Boats and Orchard Life

Leave the skyscrapers behind and journey into the tranquil Mekong Delta. Board a private boat at Ben Tre and cruise through peaceful backwaters, past stilt houses, rice barges and local markets.

Visit artisan workshops, enjoy sweet coconut treats, and listen to traditional music in an ancient house on An Bình Island. A home-cooked lunch at a local homestay offers a true taste of life in the Delta. Pedal a bicycle along shaded village paths (if you wish), or simply let the river rhythms guide your day.

Day 4

Fly to Danang — From Rivers to Sea

This morning, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Danang, Vietnam’s coastal playground. Upon arrival, your private driver will escort you to your beachfront accommodation.

The rest of the day is yours to unwind — feel the sand between your toes, sip a coconut by the pool, or stroll to a seafront café and soak in the coastal calm.

Day 5

Danang at Leisure — Beach Vibes and Village Discoveries

Take today at your own pace. Walk the golden sands of My Khe Beach, wander through the colourful Han Market, or venture to the striking Marble Mountains. You may also opt to explore nearby fishing villages, indulge in a local spa treatment, or simply enjoy the view from your balcony.

Your travel designer can also add optional experiences here — from guided food walks to a visit to Hoi An for sunset lanterns.

Day 6

Hanoi Bound — A Capital of Contrasts

Say goodbye to the coast and fly north to Hanoi, a city of poetic lakes, buzzing alleyways and timeless traditions. After being met by your driver, you’ll check in to your hotel.

Spend the afternoon exploring independently or unwind with a Vietnamese coffee overlooking the lake. Your guide will be on hand to offer local tips, from hidden cocktail bars to must-try bun cha spots.

Day 7

Choose Your Day — Hanoi or the Karst Kingdom

Today, your experience varies based on your preferred travel style:

Comfort travellers: The day is yours. Explore at your own pace — perhaps visit the Temple of Literature, sample street food, or pick up hand-embroidered souvenirs.
Deluxe & Indulgence travellers: Venture into Tràng An & Tam Coc, Vietnam’s breathtaking “Halong Bay on land”. You’ll glide through lush rice fields and stone cave tunnels by rowboat, visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lư, and enjoy a local lunch before returning to Hanoi.

Day 8

Halong Bay Cruise — A Night Among the Limestone Peaks

Depart Hanoi and travel through scenic countryside to Halong Bay, where your overnight cruise awaits.

Step aboard your boutique vessel and sail into a mesmerising seascape of karst islets and emerald waters. Depending on your cruise, you may swim in a hidden cove, explore caves, enjoy a cooking class or kayak at sunset. In the evening, dine under the stars and let the stillness of the bay lull you to sleep.

Day 9

Return to Hanoi — A Final Evening to Savour

Wake to a quiet sunrise over the bay and enjoy breakfast on deck as you cruise back to shore. Your private driver awaits for the return journey to Hanoi.

Your final evening is free to explore. Dine at a garden restaurant, browse local art galleries or sip a final toast to the Spirit of Vietnam on a rooftop bar.

They were so helpful pre-departure customising and adding extras we requested to our itinerary. As well as helping us organise our visas for our destinations. All our guides were so friendly and welcoming and made the whole experience so effortless and enjoyable. I gave her an overview of what my wife and I were looking to do in a 5 week trip around Australia and she compiled an intenerary that accomplished that, but also had a plethora of suggestions of places to see and activities that I would never have known.
We also had to change our plans towards the end of our trip and she was able to sort that out hassle free for me.

From exploring stunning temples and lush rice terraces to thrilling ATV rides through the countryside, every day was a new adventure. Highlights included visiting the Ubud Monkey Forest, ATV’s, Elephant Sanctuary and the adrenaline of swinging over rice terraces.

What made this trip extra special was our local guides which allowed us to really enjoy our time together as a group. We shared laughs, stories, and unforgettable moments that will last a lifetime. From the serene Meiji Shrine to the bustling Shibuya Crossing, the magical Teamlab Borderless, thrilling Tokyo Street Go Carting, and the enchanting Disneysea 🌊🎢, every moment was meticulously planned.
We explored traditional gems like Takayama and Shirakawa-go 🏯, marvelled at Kenroku-en garden's beauty 🌿, and indulged in Wagyu at Bungo Gion 🥩. Kyoto's Fushimi Inari Shrine and the serene Kiyomizu-dera temple were highlights, as was dressing up in a kimono and strolling through Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka Streets 👘🌸.
