Sacred Sites and Royal Grandeur

Today is a journey through Thailand’s spiritual and architectural heart. With your private guide leading the way, witness the golden majesty of Wat Traimit, the reclining Buddha of Wat Po, and the dazzling splendour of the Grand Palace. Marvel at intricate carvings and gilded stupas, learning the stories behind Thailand’s most iconic landmarks. The afternoon invites a slower pace — enjoy a quiet moment at a riverside café or retreat to your hotel oasis.

Ancient Capitals and River Tales

Leave the city behind for a day steeped in royal history. Cruise along the Chao Phraya River by longtail boat, then explore Ayutthaya’s temple-dotted landscape by tuk tuk — a charming throwback to Thailand’s golden age. Walk through once-thriving royal complexes, now peaceful ruins whispering tales of centuries past. A traditional Thai lunch in a local eatery refuels your sense of adventure before returning to Bangkok by car, with twilight painting the city gold.

This is the day many travellers treasure most. Visit a trusted ethical elephant sanctuary where you’ll feed, walk beside, and bathe these gentle giants in their natural habitat. No chains. No tricks. Return to your hotel in blissful calm.

We had the most incredible experience with Click and Trip for our Vietnam and Cambodia holiday. They were so helpful pre-departure customising and adding extras we requested to our itinerary. As well as helping us organise our visas for our destinations. All our guides were so friendly and welcoming and made the whole experience so effortless and enjoyable. The activities were amazing and so diverse in each city and our accomodation in Cambodia was a real stand out. I can not recommend Click and Trip more highly and there offering in the travel market is truely unlike anything I have seen. Book with them, you will not regret it.

Well, thats New York done and dusted !!.What a fabulous time we had. I wanted to email you to thank especially Rosie,Holly and the clickandtrip team for your organisation of our trip. It exceeded our expectations and I will be telling anyone who listens or asks to use your company and yourself. The details and instructions regarding the travelling details were clear and concise. The transfers from flights to drivers to and from airport/hotel seemless. I cannot thank you enough. Your response to any questions was prompt and clear ( and I had a lot of questions). Thank you all for a wonderful holiday we will remember forever. Kind regards Susan Hocken

Nyssa at Click and Trip was super helpful and knowledgeable. I gave her an overview of what my wife and I were looking to do in a 5 week trip around Australia and she compiled an intenerary that accomplished that, but also had a plethora of suggestions of places to see and activities that I would never have known. We also had to change our plans towards the end of our trip and she was able to sort that out hassle free for me. I have already given her details to friends and family that are thinking of touring Oz and I will not hesitate to use Click and Trip again for any trips to other destinations that may take my fancy in the future.

🌸✨ Just returned from our 2nd unforgettable trip with Click and Trip - a 2 week adventure through Japan. From the serene Meiji Shrine to the bustling Shibuya Crossing, the magical Teamlab Borderless, thrilling Tokyo Street Go Carting, and the enchanting Disneysea 🌊🎢, every moment was meticulously planned. We explored traditional gems like Takayama and Shirakawa-go 🏯, marvelled at Kenroku-en garden's beauty 🌿, and indulged in Wagyu at Bungo Gion 🥩. Kyoto's Fushimi Inari Shrine and the serene Kiyomizu-dera temple were highlights, as was dressing up in a kimono and strolling through Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka Streets 👘🌸. Click and Trip took care of everything – from tickets 🎫, transfers 🚕, luxury hotels 🏨, to private guides 🗺️. They even helped us avoid the crowds with their insider tips and perfect itineraries. The Japan Explorer package was a dream, especially the stay in a traditional Ryokan in Takayama, offering Kyoto’s charm minus the crowds 🏡✨. For a seamless, crowd-free, and unforgettable Japan experience, I can't recommend Click and Trip enough! 🌟

We had a fantastic trip to Vietnam with Click & Trip; I can't recommend this service highly enough, it takes the stress out of booking and planning a trip, and ensures you are locked into the best tours, hotels and transport for your time away (so you don't have to worry about getting dates and times right or booking an Air BnB that doesn't exist). It feels like a much more bespoke experience than previous travel agencies I've used, so if you get the chance to use them for your next trip, definitely do!

Your Questions Answered

Absolutely — and many do. Solo travellers on our Thailand Cultural Escape enjoy the full experience: private local guides, safe transfers, and boutique accommodation that’s warm, welcoming, and never cookie-cutter. A solo supplement applies, but the trade-off is profound — like sharing quiet moments with rescued elephants or drifting past temples by longtail boat with only the breeze and your guide for company.

Very much so. This itinerary is popular with couples celebrating milestones, as well as families wanting something more meaningful than a resort holiday. With no set group schedule, you can adjust each day to your pace — linger over breakfast, shorten a tour for nap time, or add child-friendly excursions. From romantic spa add-ons to family-sized rooms, we’ve got you covered.

You’ll experience both. This journey includes the iconic must-sees like Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the mountaintop temple of Doi Suthep, and a speedboat trip to Phi Phi. But we also take you deeper — into a riverside farmer’s village, bustling local markets, and an ethical elephant sanctuary. It’s the perfect blend of famous and hidden, with private guides to bring it all to life.

We keep international flights flexible so you can use frequent flyer points, pick your airline of choice, or fly in from wherever you are. Most travellers from Australia fly into Bangkok (BKK) and return home from Phuket (HKT). Common carriers include Qantas, Thai Airways, Jetstar, Singapore Airlines, and Scoot. Need help matching flights to the itinerary? Just ask — we’re here to help.

This journey is for curious souls — first-time travellers, culture-lovers, and boutique seekers who want the freedom to explore without the stress of logistics. Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, or with a few close friends, you’ll discover the temples, food, wildlife and island charm of Thailand — all with meaningful depth, flexibility and local insight.

Thailand is a friendly, welcoming destination — and we’ve made sure your experience is smooth and secure every step of the way. You’ll have private drivers and local guides throughout, handpicked hotels in safe and well-located areas, and our Australian support team on call 24/7. With no big groups and no rushed sightseeing, you’ll feel calm and confident throughout.

Yes — everything is taken care of. The internal flights (Bangkok–Chiang Mai and Chiang Mai–Phuket) are included in your trip cost, along with all airport and hotel transfers, ferry rides to the islands, and private drivers throughout. You won’t need to lift a finger (except maybe to raise your cocktail by the beach).

You’ll stay in boutique properties that reflect the spirit of each destination — whether it’s a peaceful villa in Chiang Mai, a stylish retreat in Bangkok, or an eco-luxe hideaway on Koh Yao. Choose from Comfort, Deluxe, or Indulgence levels depending on your style and budget. All are handpicked for charm, service, and their sense of place.

Breakfast is included daily, along with several key lunches and dinners — such as a street food tour and a beachfront island lunch. Thai food is wonderfully varied, and our guides will help you navigate spice levels and local flavours with confidence. Whether you’re keen to try everything or prefer milder options, you’ll eat very well (and very safely) throughout.

Definitely. Every Thailand Islands and City Sights begins with a conversation — not a checkout page. Click the “Tailor This Trip” button at the top of this page to get started. From there, you can call our Brisbane-based travel team on 1300 833 149, email contact@clickandtrip.com.au, start a live chat, or fill out our enquiry form. We’ll help customise the journey — from hotel tiers to added spa days or cultural detours — until it fits you perfectly. At Click and Trip, great journeys begin with a human touch.
